# Page shows Script when embeding links

 * Hi there
 * I’m building a page using WP Page builder into our WPLMS theme. Currently attempting
   to embed a link into the content of a page column.
 * Content is a shopify buy button HTML code. Button should show a product image
   and link directly to the shopify cart.
 * When I copy and paste the code. The link image and button does not show rather
   all of the code turns up onto the web page itself.
 * The same has happened with attempted video linking for youtube or vimeo.
    do 
   I require addtional code? or some other solution?

 * Make sure you’re pasting embed code into “Text” mode, not “Visual”. That might
   be your problem. Keep in mind, WordPress editor does strip out certain scripts
   for security. So if it breaks, that might be a problem and you might need a HTML
   snippet plugin. But try Text mode first.

 * Okay that could be it I did toy around with text vs visual..I’ll try again.

 * Code pasted into “text” automatically shows in “visual”. Once deleted in Visual
   it automatically deletes from Text. If pasted into Visual only the edit does 
   not update at all.

 * please paste your code to wordpress editor in text mode. if you still have issue
