Sorry for the delay in reply.

We see you presently have “No page refresh” disabled, and no redirect in place. Are things working in the present status? We just submitted an entry with a name of “Constant Contact Forum Support” for you to check your list to see if shows up.

Beyond that, can you provide some details about exactly what you were seeing earlier that prompted you to start the forum thread here? For example submissions weren’t going through to your list? Some sort of fatal error? Some returned error in place of the form?

Even with the data-do-ajax=”on” that functionality isn’t working for me.

If there is a redirect url entered, the ajax is supposed to submit the form without a page refresh, and override anything put in the redirect url field, basically if the action=”http://paperbox.nextmp.com/thank-you/” AND data-do-ajax=”on”, the redirect still triggers.

If the redirect url has been left blank and the data-do-ajax=”on”, the page just refreshes and the ajax still doesnt work that way either.

I’ve left the form configured with both the Redirect URL field filled and the No page refresh option checked for you to see and test.

    Morning.

First thing I’m noticing is that you are using http://paperbox.nextmp.com/thank-you/ instead of http://paperbox.nextmp.net/thank-you/ for the redirect/form action. You’d want it to match up with what your current site is, so that the form can be processed after hitting submit.

To help narrow some things down into parts, can you remove the redirect setting for the form and just leave the “No Refresh” part checked?

Just a typo on my part when I plugged that back in while testing.
The Redirect URL has been removed and the form now only has the No Redirect checked.

Awesome, will try to get some more news back to you as soon as possible. Stay tuned.

Please note that if you have difficulty accessing that domain, we are in the midst of a domain change, so the updated domain name will be paperbox.org

Noted. Thanks for the heads up

Thank you for the patience today. While we don’t necessarily have a solution yet, we do think we know what may be going.

We noticed the the ajax/no refresh submitting worked when we were on a different page than the homepage. However, once we went back to that homepage, it stopped working. It’s at that point that we noticed that you actually had the form displayed twice. First in the “Stay in Touch” section, and then second in the footer area.

I know we have some improvements noted internally around helping handle cases of forms being output multiple times, but we’re not quite yet to the point of being able to release that.

That said, we’re wondering if you would be willing to remove one of the form instances on the homepage to help confirm that that is indeed the source of the issue.

Confirming that the AJAX does work correctly with only a single form on the page.

Definitely good to know and see that that was indeed the primary conflict, however, at least at the moment, it doesn’t provide an immediate solution either. This is especially true since having a signup form part way up the homepage is a prime spot as compared to the footer.

Not sure which parts you’re willing to be flexible on, or which spot. As mentioned in our last reply, we’re working making multiple forms on the same page play better together, but still not quite there yet.
