Page redirect

Hi
I have created a web site and added links which work as expected but there is one other issue i just cant seem to get right
I have created a page and renamed it using a custom permalink which redirects you to another url but if i manually type in the permalink it does not
how do i make this so that i can manually type in the url and get redirected
eg the page permalink is website.com.au/gohere <- if i click on that page on my home page i get redirected to a different url which is what i want, however if i open a new window and type that address i go to that address and dont get redirected
