 * I am trying to setup foyer to support displaying calendars. These calendars are
   built using EventOn ([https://www.myeventon.com/](https://www.myeventon.com/))
 * I am trying to either build a page (preferably) that has their shortcode to display
   the calendar and then have the page built. I am not worried about headers and
   such because I can create pages without headers/sidebars.
 * When I do that and look at the page in a browser, I get a big grey background
   and inside of it, I get a box with vertical and horizontal scroll bars and nothing
   in it.
 * I then tried to build the page as a post. This got better. But it is still wonky.
   This had the post title and date in that big white box and has a vertical scroll
   bar on the right side 🙁
 * I then tried to build the slide as an external website. I called the page. The
   page looks fine in a browser hitting it. However, when I called the foyer version
   of the page it did something interesting. It rendered the page again with that
   massive grey background, the white box in the center of the screen and it rendered
   the page as it was on a mobile device.
 * How do I get the external website version to not look like it is a mobile device?

 * Shows what I mean about the grey and the white box in the center.
 * I have looked at the page pulled from WP. It shows the content block being full
   width.
 * Any ideas?
 * Thanks.

 * Hey Dave, [@inttech](https://wordpress.org/support/users/inttech/),
 * I hope you already figured this out but the screenshot you sent is of a WordPress
   preview of the slide. This preview is always presented on a grey background.
 * Have you tried setting up a display, then viewing its URL in a full screen browser
   where you are not logged in (!) to WordPress? See this FAQ:
 * [https://wordpress.org/plugins/foyer/#how%20do%20i%20set%20up%20my%20slideshow%20on%20my%20digital%20sign%3F](https://wordpress.org/plugins/foyer/#how%20do%20i%20set%20up%20my%20slideshow%20on%20my%20digital%20sign%3F)
 * About using shortcodes / plugins on your Foyer Post or Text slides: this is unsupported
   and might not work or give unexpected results. If so, the External web page slide
   is the way to go.
 * Let me know if this helps!
