Support » Fixing WordPress » Page Permalink does not show html extension

My Permalink Setting is set to Custom Structure with /%postname%.html – which works in Posts – but in Pages there is no .html extension and pages are displaying as 404 not found. Any idea why?
Pages don’t follow the custom permalink structure. See http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks
Except that it works on my localhost setup – I see ‘about.html’ in Pages, but not on my server. There must be a difference, but I can’t find it.

I’m having the same issue – I’ve read and reread the “Pages don’t follow the custom permalink structure” and I’m not seeing how to fix this.
You can edit the url of pages after they are published. See http://codex.wordpress.org/Pages
