# Page only permalinks?

 * Hey community! I am tired of using subdomains and custom folders with html redirects
   to point to my wordpress pages. In the past if I wanted to shorten a permalink
   I would add a root in my website and do a html redirect. I would just change 
   the permalink structure but I have a lot of similar posts with the same titles.
   Is there anyway to setup a custom permalink structure but for pages only? I’d
   like to leave posts permalink structure the same though. Does anybody know of
   a working plugin?

 * Sounds like you’re manually creating lots of cruft in order to redirect users
   to specific pages.
 * Why not just use something like [http://wordpress.org/plugins/redirection/](http://wordpress.org/plugins/redirection/)
