Page Not found Error on Redirect during Authorization Process

    Hello,

    This plugin as well as WP Mail SMTP both give the same issue. I follow the guide, have everything in place, Client ID, Secret, and Authorization URI, and when I click to Grant Permission with Google, it appears to go through that process, put then when it redirects back to the site, I get a page not found error (404). So, the site never gets permission/authorization.

    During my attempts to grant permission, I have no wp cache running and no wordfence running.

    Okay, I believe I have resolved the issue!

    For anyone else in the future that has this same problem, where you get a 404 on the redirect after the final step to authorize the plugin, in this instance, it was related to ModSecurity. Go into cpanel, or whatever your host systems use to administer itself, and temporarily disable MobSecurity while you complete the authorization process. Then, after the authorization completes successfully, and the test emails come through, just turn ModSecurity back on.
