Support » Plugin: WordPress Gallery Plugin - NextGEN Gallery » Page Load Speed Issues with JS and CSS

  • We are experiencing Render Blocking of JS and CSS delivery issues with your Plugin. Will future updates defer parsing for these files?
    ‘/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/ajax/static/ajax.js?ver=3.8.3
    /wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/ajax/static/persist.js?ver=3.8.3
    /wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/ajax/static/store.js?ver=3.8.3
    /wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/ajax/static/ngg_store.js?ver=3.8.3

The CSS delivery of these files is also slowing our website down.

    Please advise?
    Tom

@explorations – The references you are using are indicating a WordPress 3.8.3 installation, is there a reason you are not updating to the latest WordPress version, or have you already updated?

    – Cais.

We will update when we are finished developing the website. Still in construction. Doee you plugin address speed issues in a newer version?

@explorations – We are always reviewing and improving performance issues. Naturally new releases will be improving upon previous releases.

We also plan a near future release almost exclusively devoted to performance and load issues.

That would be great Cais!! We are having the same speed issues with the /nextgen-scrollgallery/ plugin. Do your interact with that support team?

Please keep me posted…love NextGen plugins!
