Page link style

  • Hi !
    here is my blog : pepin.tagle.ca
    I would like to change the style of my pages link (top right) to add a vertical line near the name of the page (right or left).
    It would be like this : Page Name |
    In addition, while the mouse is on, the color of the line would change as a normal link, and the “Page Name” wouldn’t change.
    What code should it be ? (new to html).

    thanks a lot !

  • Here’s the CSS for the pages link (in the header)

    ul.menu {
    margin: 0px;
    padding: 0px;
    position: absolute;
    z-index:1;
    top: 20;
    left: 770px;
    width: 210px;
    font-size: 2.3em;
    font-weight: bold;
    text-align: right;
    list-style: none;
    list-style-position:inside;
    line-height: 1.5em;
    }

    ul.menu li {
    display: block;
    margin: 0;
    }

    ul.menu,
    ul.menu li a {
    padding: 10px 0px 0px 0px;
    }

    ul.menu li a {
    color: #595441;
    margin:0px;
    }

    ul.menu li a:hover {
    color: #69BFDE!important;
    text-decoration: none;
    }

    ul.menu li.current_page_item a,
    ul.menu li.current_page_item a:hover {
    color: #595441!important;
    text-decoration: none;
    }

    In the ul.menu{ I tried to add
    border-right-width: 2px; it doesn’t work
    border: 0 0 0 2px; it doesn’t work

    text-decoration: …; Text decoration works
    BUT I don’t know what to write to get a border on the right.

    Am I in the right path or totally lost ?

    What should I right ?
