Page level option to add “Overall Rating” disappeared!

    At some point in the WP updates chain, the YASR right toolbar settings in the post editor no longer shows stars so I can provide an “Overall Rating”.

    The plugin’s settings box (in post editor upper right toolbar) still shows the “This review is about” and has the pulldown for the category, but that’s it. The 5 stars to choose from are gone.

    My older posts still show the overall ratings I’ve input in the past, but if I update an older post, the stars disappear when viewing the post again, and just show 5 grey stars with no rating.

    I’ve cleared all my caches and CDN caches but the problem remains.

    This seems to have come about around the time WP upgraded to BLOCKS. Is this a bug with blocks that you’ve missed?

    Also, Google isn’t showing my stars anymore for my posts that are exhibiting this problem :(:(:(

    To insert a rating in overall rating, just add the block yasr_overall_rating

    With the classic editor, when you create or update a page or a post, a box (metabox) will be available in the upper right corner where you’ll
    be able to insert the overall rating.
    With the new Guteneberg editor, just click on the “+” icon to add a block and search for Yasr Overall Rating.
    You can either place the overall rating automatically at the beginning or the end of a post (look in “Settings”
    -> “Yet Another Stars Rating: Settings”), or wherever you want in the page using the shortcode [yasr_overall_rating] (easily added through the visual editor).

    In the classic editor I can see the Metabox, but that’s where the rating stars don’t show up, as I’ve described, so I have no way to choose the “overall rating” there.

    Now I tried adding a YASR “Block” and it’s Metabox did indeed show the stars so that I could seemingly rate it, but when I hit “Update” the stars defaulted back to grey and show as just gray when I “view post”.

    Also, I find it odd that the “Block” Metabox doesn’t provide the option to choose the category for “This review is about”. Is this not available on a post by post basis anymore?

    I prefer not to make my URLs public, so I sent them to the “privacy” email address found on your website. Can you look for them there?

    BTW, the YASR plug is updated to 2.0.1
