Page layouts are temporarily altered when I make any change to a page

Hi there. Thanks in advance for your time on this.

I’ve used Elementor before on websites and have never experienced the issue I’m having with a site I recently built.

The issue is as follows:

The website is live, everything looks great, but when a change has been made to a page (editing the page via the WordPress “quick edit” or editing the content via Elementor page builder) and the change is updated, the live version of the page gets really messed up for a while after the update – as in the layout is all over the place, background colours are missing, text sizes are all off… It has always gone back to normal after about a half an hour or more, but it’s a worry since we don’t want anyone landing on the site when things are looking crazy.

Does anyone have any insight into what might be happening? And how we might prevent that from happening? Or what information I could provide that might help me drill down on what’s causing the problem?
