• Hi,

Some pages don’t get saved after modification of a Pootle element. Actually the page gets saved, including the title, but the Pootle elements are unchanged.

I can unserialize post_meta “panels_data” without error. If I copy panels_data to another page, it displays all right, but still does not save.

A simple new page will update correctly. I don’t know when it gets blocked.

I am at a loss; any clue?

    Thanks
    Christian

    Hi Christian,

Do you have a link to the page in question?

Normally this is caused by another plugin, so if could you check those first,

    Tks,

    Hi Jamie,

I disabled all plugins except WooCommerce and the site plugin, as the theme expect these. I’ll try to switch to twentyseventeen and check.

    Hi Christian,

Do you have a url we can take a look at?

I switched to twentyseventeen, disabled all plugins except Pootle: still doesn’t save 🙁

    Hi ,

It looks like that page is using gravity forms – could you try removing the short code as a test?

Hi, is there any solution for this problem? I’m having the same problems after the last update.
    Thanks,

    Hi Erik,

This is likely caused by another plugin – could you de-activate plugins to find the culprit (especially any caching plugins)

    Let me know 🙂

    Hi Jamie, thanks.
Strange thing is that if I add a new row and only add one editor with the + I can save the page. But if I add the second editor block that block isn’t saved. It doesn’t matter if I create the editor left or right.
can only save 1 editor in a row

    Hi,
I have the same problem, with multiple websites. Very annoying for me and my clients. I already had email correspondance with Jamie about this but did not get a solution.

So now we use the front for editing, that ís working, also updating is fine, exept now it is impossible to add a link from the front… I get the field for the link but it is just not possible to type/paste in it. It is only possible to add a link to a another page/post.

so: lot of trouble… Go to front to edit, go to back to add link, add extra editor block to get it saved. This is not working!

    thx for helping,
    Monique

    Hi Monique,

We are pretty sure that your issue is unrelated to the previous issue – as we discussed in the support ticket you have other issues on your site unrelated to pagebuilder 🙁 e.g menu items not saving,

We really need to get a stable installation first – did you have any luck finding out what is wrong with the install?

    jamie

The problem with the menu item as you experienced doesn’t occur with me. Tried a few times, no problem. Also, never had that problem before.
So I guess that is stable…

On top of that: with deactivating other plugins there is no difference (problem stays), with deactivating pagebuilder premium the problem DOES NOT exist. Off course I do not want to do that, because I like pagebuilder and my website is based on it.

With another theme (twenty sixteen) the problem is the same.
