Page ID – Custom Names Possible?

    Hi All,

    I am new to WordPress and have so far created my own static 5-page website. One thing I haven’t been able to figure out is the PageID function. For Example:

    http://www.example.com/?page_id=55 O would really like to read
    http://www.example.com/Biography

    How do I make that happen. I know other users must have had that same question before, but I have searched the forum and came up empty.

    Any help is much appreciated,
