 * Hi,
 * I’m pretty new at wordpress and I want to create a site which is mainly page 
   based.
    There are two features that I’m having trouble with: 1. A gallery of 
   pages: I’d like to have a gallery of “thumb pictures” and a short subtitle which
   leads to another page. Is there a plug-in\php or even a theme that suits that
   functionality? 2. Two different photograph galleries in the same page

 * There are tons of them that can do this. I am not going to recommend a specific
   one but for premium themes you can look at elegantthemes, woothemes, themeforest.
 * I’m sure you can find what you’re looking for there.

 * ok, let’s ignore the second feature.
    Assuming that i have a limited budget, 
   how can i create a gallery of pages?
