  • there was a bug with IE and WordPress that has been fixed with WordPress 4.2.3 – are you already using that version?

Yes, we are running WordPress 4.2.3 running Deborah theme.

is the issue reproducable when all other plugins have been temporarily disabled or when a default theme like twentytwelve is used?

Robert, for the size and scope of this website, I’m told that switching themes or disabling plugins is not feasible.

Plus, this issue not easily reproducible. The map works fine on all browsers and PCs in my work group. I have only witnessed this issue on one computer in the building.

Is it possible that the problem is with the browser?

    Thanks for getting involved.

Here is an update, the map is suffering different levels of failure in IE on several PCs in the building – from freezing the screen and producing an error message blaming the website to losing the map image.

for me it seems likely that some other plugin and/or its Javascript might be interferring with my plugin, so disabling all other plugins temporarily would really help telling if this is a conflict issue – deactivate g plugins is usually no issue & but of course I do not know the special config of your site.
would ibe possible to try if the issue is reproducable with the pro version too, as this includes a newer leaflet version…

just checked the according fullscreen map (http://4cflorida.org/wp-content/plugins/leaflet-maps-marker/leaflet-fullscreen.php?layer=3) and zooming on IE works in contrast to zooming on http://4cflorida.org/parents/early-head-start-and-head-start-ehs-hs/ – this makes it very likely that there is a conflict with another component being loaded on your site – most likely another plugin or javascript from your theme…
