I’m not necessarily new to wordpress, but I decided to take on a personal challenge of creating a template from scratch. So as of currently I am transforming my html into php. I’m having trouble with my links and you can see my website here.
When I click on any of the navigation tags, they go to the page (see address bar) but the content stays the same.
I’ve checked out some forums and problems similar to mine and I realized that in my pages, I don’t have page attributes that allows for showcasing. I’m not sure if this may be the problem.
I am using this for the navigation
<div class="nav"> <ul> <li id="home"><a href="#">Home</a></li> <?php wp_list_pages('title_li=&include=5, 8, 13, 11'); ?> </ul> </div><!---end_navigation--->
<div id="incontain"> <?php require('wp-blog-header.php');?> <?php query_posts('showposts=1'); ?> <?php while (have_posts()) : the_post(); ?> <a>" rel="bookmark" title="Permanent Link to <?php the_title(); ?>"><?php the_title(); ?></a><?php the_content ();?> <?php endwhile;?> </div><!---end_incontain--->
for the content within the blue div.
I’m probably doing it all wrong so please don’t be afraid to tell me what I did wrong and help me out. Thanks in advance!
