    Hello,

I was using Super Page Cache for a whil and I had to redo the clouflare integration with my hosting provider.
And now when I test cache I hace the following message :

Page caching seems not working for both dynamic and static pages.

Error on dynamic page (https://byothe.fr): The plugin is not detected on your home page. If you have activated other caching systems, please disable them and retry the test.

Error on static resource (https://byothe.fr/wp-content/plugins/wp-cloudflare-page-cache/assets/testcache.html): Seem that your website is not behind Cloudflare. If you have recently enabled the cache or it is your first test, wait about 30 seconds and try again because the changes take a few seconds for Cloudflare to propagate them on the web. If the error persists, request support for a detailed check.

Please check if the page caching is working by yourself by surfing the website in incognito mode ’cause sometimes Cloudflare bypass the cache for cURL requests. Reload a page two or three times. If you see the response header cf-cache-status: HIT, the page caching is working well.

What can I do to fix this ? The cached pourcentage of traffic being cached by cloudflare has dropped significatively.

    Thank you 🙂

    Hi,
from what I see your page caching is working perfectly. The “Test Cache” button sometimes gives false negatives. That is why it is always recommended to check the actual response header data:

The cache is working properly on your site.

    Hello @isaumya

    That’s good news…
But it’s pretty frustrating to get a false negative from the “test cache” button…

    – The test cache doesn’t always get the proper response headers as it is supposed to. It is always better to check the response headers as that’s just give you a more clear picture.

    Hey @isaumya
I think I understan what was wrong.
The test cache was not working because of the security option of Cloudflare : Bot Fight Mode.
I deactivated it and now the Cache Testing works fine 😉
It was also causing a problem with cron…

Yes Bot Fight mode causes a lot of issues. It is something I generally not recommend enabling unless you have time to shift though the logs and continuously modify your firewall settings. Cloudflare is well aware of the issue and the false positives and I hope they fix the issues soon.
