I’m using w3 on my site https://goedkopejurist.nl for a long time together with cloudflare. Version 1.3.17

I haven’t changed anything to my site recently other than updates for some plugins, which one i can’t recall. The site always worked perfectly with the pagina cache, database cache and object cache enabled

    Suddenly some webpages are not being showed out of the pagecache, instead the following blank text, which is also the only thing the html source contains, appears on some pages (the url changes accordingly to the page that is not being showed);

    X-Powered-By: PHP/5.4.39-0+deb7u2X-CF-Powered-By: WP 1.3.17X-Pingback: http://goedkopejurist.nl/xmlrpc.phpContent-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8Location: http://goedkopejurist.nl/contract-aanvragen-2/

This is happening only at some pages not all.

I’ve switched of the pagecache in w3 which fixes the issue directly. However i really need the pagecache for a good user experience! Please help me out and my gratitude will be big

    kind regards

I am having the exact same problem as well. Most of the pages are working fine, but every so often I stumble across a similar message. IT’s very strange and annoying, and I’ve yet to get a solution for it.

If I log in to my site as an administrator and then manually purge the page from the cache it works fine, but obviously we shouldn’t have to be doing this.

Any solution would be greatly appreciated also!

Thanks for your reaction! I’m starting to see the problem occuring more and more by other users around the web. @robobobo100 are you using the cloudflare plugin in wordpress as well?

I’m starting to think that the problem is related to this.

It’s always nice to know your not the only one!

Yes I am using cloudflare and I have the cloudflare plugin installed as well.

I wonder is it the plugin causing the issues or the actual cloudflare service? The cloudflare service should operate without any problems even if the plugin isn’t installed.

A quick search there and I’ve discovered there is a cloudflare extension for W3 total cache which I did not know about
    https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/200169546-What-fields-do-I-need-to-enter-in-W3TC-W3-Total-Cache-settings-

I’ve now set that up and see if that has any effect on it!

The Cloudflare extension will not help since I’ve been using it for quite some time. I’ve reverted back to 1.3.16 off a backup, and the blank pages cleared up. I’d suggest reverting back until Cloudflare fixes. They have 1.3.18 if you want to try.

    Good luck!

Thanks alot for your help, after downgrading the cloudflarep lugin to 1.3.16 the problem has been solved, hopefully the cloudflare team will fix the issue soon

I upgraded to Cloudflare 1.3.18 yesterday to see if it would make a difference. As of yet I haven’t come across any broken pages so maybe it’s been solved in this update. I’ll be sure to keep an eye out anyway and it’s good to know there is an alternative solution if need be

I have a development site that’s running .18 now. Seems okay, but will wait a few days to see how it fares before going to production. Good to hear everyone is okay now 🙂
