Support » Plugin: W3 Total Cache » Page cache enabled on a WordPress MU but not working

  • Hi,

    I use W3TC on a WP MU install. I configured the plugin at the network level so that it operates on the whole network. Page cache (Disk:Enhanced), Minify and CDN are configured.

    I enabled debugging and here is what I got on the home page:

    <!-- W3 Total Cache: Minify debug info:
    Engine:             disk: basic
    Theme:              dbd52
    Template:           home
    <!-- W3 Total Cache: CDN debug info:
    Engine:             cf2
    Replaced URLs: => => => => => => => => => => => => => =>
    <!-- Performance optimized by W3 Total Cache. Learn more:
     Served from: @ 2013-05-07 16:12:38 by W3 Total Cache -->

    It’s like the page cache engine was not involved at all, not even an error or anything…
    Any idea?

    Would you like to check out the next release?

    why not, if it can help

    just noticed the following message in the “install” page:

    .htaccess file contains rules to rewrite url into which, if handled by plugin, return "OK" message.
    The plugin made a request to but received:
    200 OK
    instead of "OK" response.
    Unfortunately disk enhanced page caching will not function without custom rewrite rules. Please ask your server administrator for assistance. Also refer to the install page for the rules for your server.

    But I put in the .htaccess the code that is given on the install page

    ok, forgot about that last one, not the same site and it’s was caused by a “maintenance” redirect…

    still no page caching tho…

    when you say “the next release” you mean the trunk from the repository?

    I updated the plugin to the version in the trunk
    I use it on a WP install (not MU) that is on the same server and has the same problem
    I enabled Page Caching (Disk:Basic) and enable Debug for everything…

    You can check the result here:
    Everything works except Page Caching
