Support » Plugin: Easy Forms for Mailchimp » Page builder throwing error

Hi, I’ve been consistently seeing an error message in the Easy Forms opt in form builder section for a couple weeks now. It says: “We’ve encountered an error. Reload the page and try again. If the error persists, please reach out to support.” I’ve looked at other requests for similar errors and found them unhelpful. The IP address is not in a multisite and is in development so there is no malicious content coming from the site. The API is valid as well. Please advise, thanks.

    Hi @danielstormhill

That error is a sign that the IP address of the server your site is on is blocked by Mailchimp: https://yikesplugins.com/support/knowledge-base/are-you-being-blocked-by-mailchimp/

By “The IP address is not in a multisite” do you mean your site is on a dedicated server with no other sites on that same server? Multisite means one thing with WordPress and shared server means another, I just want to make sure I’m understanding you correctly. Since your site is in development, are you blocking traffic another way until it launches?

I would just double-check with your host and have them check the IP, because that is the error you see when Mailchimp is blocking it.

    Thank you,
