Packages/Shipping Labels unaccessable

    I’m currently setting up a new storefront with a new install of WordPress. When I try to go to either ‘Packages’ or ‘Shipping Labels’ in WooCommerce, all I get is:

    “There was a problem saving your settings. Please try again after the page is reloaded.”

    Page would then reload and all info is greyed out and blinking, including the ‘Save Changes’ buttons.

    I only have ‘Jetpack’, ‘WooCommerce’, and ‘WooCommerce Services’ plugins active on the base storefront theme. ‘Shipping Zones’ have been defined and look to be working correctly. Have also entered ‘Shipping Options’ in case that was needed, but it did not change the results.

    There is currently no cache plugin installed, let alone running. Unless one is running server-side that I don’t know about.

    If anyone has an idea on how to get this working currently, I am all ears.

    Hi @smudge,

    I think you’ll need to open a ticket with us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Tickets.

    Please include:

    • Screenshots/casts
    • System status report (WooCommerce > Status)
    • Enable debug logging for Services
    • We’ll likely also need to check things out in the Admin area of your site. Could you set us up with temporary Administrator login credentials. Use https://quickforget.com/ to securely send me the password and website URL. Once you’ve created the QuickForget note, copy and paste the Quick Forget link in the ticket. NOTE, that’s when contacting our ticket form, not to publish here!

    Okay – leaving the answer that worked for me here in case others stumble on this thread.

    Disable then re-enable WooCommerce Services.

    That’s all it took. Why is it always the simple things you didn’t think of that works? lol

    I feel like I’ve just been bitten by a snake.
