• Hi there,

I ran the P3 Profiler and it is reporting that WP Social Login is by far the biggest time consumer on my site. It is taking 0.5 seconds to load on each page refresh apparently!

I just wondered if this is a bug or can’t be helped?

I would have thought that if someone is logged in (as I was when I ran the test) then the Social Login can disable itself? It’s only really needed to log someone in?

Is P3 Profiler reporting incorrectly here or am I missing something?

    Many thanks

    John 🙂

PS. It’s a great plugin by the way. This is by no means a criticism. Just wanting to make my site as fast as possible. 🙂

  • From my testing, WP Social Login’s performance isn’t much different from other similar plugins. I compared 8 social login plugins with P3 Profiler here:

(See last row in the table)

Even when someone is logged in, the plugin will be adding some overhead to the site’s overall performance since it is activated and hooked into WordPress.

Thanks for the info. I’ll run it a few more times (at different times of day) and see if I get the same results. Thanks again.
