# P2 theme won't install

 * Hi I’m trying to install the P2 theme but all I get is:
    ‘The package could not
   be installed. No valid plugins were found. Plugin install failed.’ I’ve downloaded
   version the latest version of P2 1.4.0 but it won’t install. Any ideas/suugestions
   would be most welcome.

 * I just tried it and it installed successfully for me. Check the theme requirements
   against your server and also see if you have enough memory.
 * You can also try to download it from wordpress.org then FTP it to your site.

 * Thanks for your reply. I should have mentioned that I’m running a copy of wordpress
   on localhost ( which I use as a testbed ) in order to see how it looks/functions.
   If it works, as I hope it will, I’ll be using it on a new copy of wordpress which
   I want to hang on a subdomain to my main site, ie I want to keep the current 
   theme on my main site.
 * I’ve never had problems uploading plugins on localhost before so I can’t really
   understand why this is refusing to load.

 * The problem has been resolved. I can’t believe that I was making the basic error
   of trying to upload P2 as a plugin and not as a theme.
