Oxygen theme no articles in front page!

    I am using the Oxygen theme on my wordpress. But when I assume a static page to the home page of my blog, the page only shows the “Apologie…” message with no posts! But I had articles there!

    Any one with the same trouble?

    PS: Also the slider does not work as well
