This plugin doesn’t actually create a real robots.txt file. Instead, it creates a virtual one when the file is requested. If your site has an actual robots.txt file then it will be sent instead of what this plugin generates.

I can’t be sure how this plugin will interact with other plugins that work with robots.txt since I don’t know how they work. It’s probably best if you find a single plugin that does what you need with the robots.txt file to avoid running into conflicts.

I have 2 or 3 plugins that have nothing directly to do with the robot.txt but output some key urls to the robots file.

I was hoping I could use your plugin to add to my robots file, but it seems you just overwrite everything.

This plugin doesn’t “know” about the rules other plugins are attempting to add so yeah I don’t think it’s compatible with what you’re hoping to do.
