Hi, I use this (paid) plugin with betheme (but will work similar with all themes that have own portfolio). This plugin automatically overwrites theme portfolio and causes a portfolio content crash, it will just save the featured image.

    2. Problem would be fine to switch this feature off before, but you cannot see/access to plugin settings (it’s unvisible) til you deactivate portfolio in your theme. But after you do this, the Visual Portfolio overwrites the theme portfolio and all content made with page builder is no more visible (page not found).

Makes me only waste time, this plugin, even paid version.

    Hi,

    To address your concerns:

    1. Our plugin registers a custom Portfolio post type, which is a standard practice for plugins. However, we understand this may conflict with theme-based portfolios. We’re working on improving compatibility with various themes. For example, we have a workaround for Avada theme https://visualportfolio.co/docs/troubleshooting/avada-theme-portfolio-post-type-conflict/
    2. We acknowledge the difficulty in accessing plugin settings before deactivating the theme’s portfolio. We can check the code of beTheme and maybe it will be possible to add compatibility. But you need to keep conversation in our support system with our support agent.
    3. Regarding content loss, our plugin shouldn’t overwrite or delete existing content. If you’re experiencing this issue, it may be due to a conflict.

As a Pro customer, we encourage you to use our dedicated support ticket system for personalized assistance. Our team is ready to help you resolve these issues and ensure you get the most out of our plugin.

We’re committed to improving your experience and would be happy to work with you directly to address these problems. Please reach out to our support team, and we’ll do our best to find a solution that works for your specific setup.

    Regards,
    Nikita.
