# Overwrite an e-mail template

 * I want to overwrite an email template according to the following message:
 * _To overwrite and edit this email template, copy woocommerce/templates/emails/
   customer-on-hold-order.php into your theme folder: 4.1.0/woocommerce/emails/customer-
   on-hold-order.php_
 * However, when I search for ftp in “get help”, it says: _“For security reasons,
   there is no FTP for WordPress.com blogs”._
 * So if I edit the template offline, how do I get it uploaded to the folder “4.1.0/
   woocommerce/emails/customer-on-hold-order.php”?
 * I have searched unsuccessfully in tutorials on wordpress, but there it is always
   already assumed that you know how to put files in a particular folder. This is
   just a small, one-time thing for which I do not want to become a wordpress expert
   first.

 * This refers to users of the WordPress.com hosting service (not users self-hosting
   the WordPress software on their own hosting service).
 * Is your website hosted with **WordPress.com**? If so, kindly get in touch with
   them for help, as FTP is as a server/hosting feature, and not something provided
   by the WordPress software: [https://wordpress.com/support/contact/](https://wordpress.com/support/contact/)
 * From what I recall, **WordPress.com** customers on their new **PRO plan**, or
   the legacy **BUSINESS and ECOMMERCE plans**) **_do have FTP access_**. Here’s

 * If your website is NOT hosted with WordPress.com, then the above-quoted message
   does not apply to you, and you should contact your hosting provider for FTP access
