Support » Themes and Templates » Overriding Responsive CSS for a single page

  • I have setup a website using VGOptima Responsive theme and have installed the Child theme. Everything looks great on both a laptop on a mobile device with the aid of the responsive css.

The problem i’m having is that I need to disable the responsive css actions for a single page so that it looks both the same on a mobile device as it does on a laptop.

Im also using Visual Composer which allows me to add custom css to the page if that helps or is any easier.

I’m a beginner when it come to all this so any help would be appreciated.

  • I think your best bet for doing this would be to create a child theme and create a template for what you want. You would have to have unique id and classes to target just that template.

Else you would effect the look of other pages that you want to remain responsive. It’s not going to be as easy

I’n new to all this and maybe their is a simpler was of doing it … What i’m trying to achieve is to display a line of 4 images across the width of the page when it’s viewed on a pc/laptop but then drop to two images across the width and drop the other two down when being viewed on a mobile device.

I’ve already installed the child theme and have tried adding some code into the style.css sheet but to no avail.
