    Hi
    Firstly great plugin!

My issue is when I activate “Override the post edit link” to get around there being no function or shortcode to manually add an edit post link for our users. The Edit Post link in the top black admin bar is also changed, would it be possible to keep that one link as a link to edit the post in the WP admin?

  • Hello @richard-b,

Do you mean you want to stop the users from editing the posts from their account/dashboard page?

    Hi @611shabnam
No I mean when the “Override the post edit link” is switched on the ‘edit post’ link in the black admin bar at the top should not be affected when logged in as an admin or editor, these links should still lead to the edit post area in wp-admin.
    Thanks!

    Any followup on this?

    Hello @richard-b,

    Extremely sorry for the delay.

I am working on this, will update you as soon as possible.

    Regards,

    Hello @richard-b,

Actually the purpose of overriding the edit post link is to bring the user to frontend when a post is submitted from backend. If it is set to yes, the user will be able to edit the post from the frontend using the form of WPUF.

For the black admin bar at the top, you need to set this settings.

Let me know if I have missed something.

    Regards,
