Override Template wp event manager files

If you have an overridden template file by following this doc it should work fine. As per your steps, it looks like you have configured correctly but it might be possible that you theme doesn’t allow to load child theme properly or doesn’t load the child theme directory as the active theme.

I would suggest you to check this with the default theme and follow this doc it should work without any issue https://wp-eventmanager.com/template-files-override/

Please double verify the steps with our doc and with the default theme.
