Override sample-placeholders templates

Is there a possible/recommended way to override “includes/sample-placeholders/location-single-default.html”?

I’m using EM in a multisite setup, and it would be nice to modify the default placeholder(s) for new sites that are created rather than having to manually edit them in WP Admin.

I don’t want to edit the placeholder in the plugin dir because the changes will get blown away when the plugin is updated.
