Really? Yeah, the form renders well and the CAPTCHA shows up…but where does the email message go? Not in my inbox. This plugin is a major FAIL. After struggling with this overrated plugin, trying to get it to…you know…actually SEND an email that I’d actually RECEIVE, it just never happened. It’s been over 24 hours, no email… For the record, I’ve used and configured various standalone formmail, from CGI to PHP-based on non-blog websites since 1999, so I’m not exactly a newbie at this. * If anyone reading these “reviews” are as frustrated as I am about Contact Form 7, and looking for a form that actually works, try the Fast Secure Contact Form plugin ([http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/si-contact-form/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/si-contact-form/)). And, no, I haven’t any ties to the developer…I just wish I’d found this plug- in before I wasted an evening on Contact Form 7. The plugin successfully sends millions of emails every day. * There are a host of issues that can delay or stop emails on both the send and receiving ends of a typical email. Maybe if you posted what steps you had taken someone could have helped you. I have a fraction of the experience level that you two appear to have and was able to set this up, style it, and send and receive successfully in about 15 minutes. Nothing worked for me. Luckily I found Fast Secure Contact Form which did work for me. I think it’s just peachy-keen that Contact Form 7 worked for you, but it didn’t work for me, despite a myriad of tweaks. After reading through forum post after forum post on the topic, a lot of other people had the same problems. This is my opinion, you gave yours. End of story.
