• Way to expensive if you’re just looking for a standard method of accepting donation payments.

We set it up on a clients site. Used it for a few years until deciding it wasn’t worth the cost and left the license expire. Then they contact our clients directly trying to solicit a renewal. Not cool.

    Hey @samniosaki,

You’re right, if you are looking for basic donations, our free plugin is more than enough. We intentionally give away a free version that is sufficient for the needs of MANY nonprofits, because we truly believe in our tagline “Democratizing Generosity.”

For additional things like recurring donations or Fee Recovery, some add-ons are recommended for sure.

It’s not our place to debate whether the price is too high for those add-ons. If it doesn’t work for you and your clients, by all means continue to use the free version.

We definitely do reach out to lapsed license holders, because (1) we believe our product is worth it and (2) we want to make sure folks continue to use the latest and greatest versions of all premium add-ons. We reach out using the information given at the time of purchase. If you’d rather us reach out to you, please don’t purchase licenses using your clients’ information.

    Have a fantastic week!

Thing is, we used our own contact info. After we didn’t respond to your solicitation, and cancelled the subscription, you guys then turn around and submit the same solicitation to renew on our clients website contact form.
