Overlay doesnt work with video?

First great plugin! Works with all browsers (unlike some others) and nice interface.

But the overlay feature is not working or not working properly for video. If its not supposed to work with video please try to make it work, and maybe add a few more “lightening” (= increase brightness) options.

Basically I have a bg video that I want playing, which it does, but the video is way too colorful and dark, and makes it hard for my text/logo to stand out in the header. I even lightened the video by over 50% before re-uploading them, tried direct file upload and via Youtube, but the video is still the same dark appearance, i.e., I cant seem to make it lighter/brighter on matter what, so something is wrong here. When I view it in Youtube and on my local PC, it is the light version that I have edited, so this doesnt make any sense.
