The only thing I can really say is that I think it would be better if the quotation marks were just to the side of the text instead of laying underneath it. It would make it more legible. Or you could darken that font. But personally, I don’t think that the contrast is high enough right now for you to overlap those things.
I second that. And get rid of the footer. They’re nice, but having one saying “this is here for no reason” is an eyesore. I also don’t like the chunky font for post titles. A skinny sans serif font like Lucida Grande, or something like Georgia or Dante would be better.
Thanks for the tips on the fonts. I am on a Mac and have just had the opportunity to see the site on a Windows with IE and the font is displayed wrong. I will look into fixing it.
