I switched servers (first time I’ve done this) and after getting advice on how to do that efficiently (moving over 20 sites) I was taught how to make an SQL dump in SSH, then FTP from another instance of SSH, grab the dump (heh), and then place it in the newly created db on the new server. Most of the moves were hitch free, but, on one I am stumped.

The site had WP installed in a sub-directory (sitename/blog), and I want it now to be in the main directory. When I go to dump the db in, there is no worky because the installation tries to go to that /directory.

Thanks in advance for the advice….
