 * I periodically receive a large batch of notifications for WordFence activity.
   On June 29th there were over 400.
 * “Wordfence activity for June 29, 2026 on greenenergytimes.org” – is there some
   way to limit this to one a day? I have alerts set to high only, and no more than
   5 per hr…
 * This is a registered premium site.
 * thanks

 * Hi [@dosolutions](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dosolutions/),
 * Thank you for reaching out! What’s likely happening is that your site’s WordPress
   cron has gotten stuck. Instead of sending the report once and scheduling the
   next one, the same overdue job keeps re-firing every time your server’s cron
   runs (often once a minute), which is why they’re flooding in.
 * To stop the emails right now, go to **Wordfence > All Options > Activity Report**,
   remove the checkmark for “**Enable email summary**,” then click **Save**. That
   stops them immediately. You can then try re-enabling it to see if that fixes
   it. If not, disable it again. Once the underlying issue is sorted out, you can
   re-enable it, and it will return to its normal schedule.
 * If you’re still seeing the behavior, please send your site diagnostics so we
   can check your configuration for anything that might point to the issue. You
   can do this from Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics to us at wftest @ wordfence .
   com. Click on “**Send Report by Email**“. Please add your forum username where
   indicated and _**respond here after you have sent it**._
 * **NOTE:** It should look as follows – Screenshot of [Tools > Diagnostic > Send by Email](https://www.wordfence.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/diagnosticsendbyemail.png)
 * Just so you know, we can sort this out here since it’s not a paid feature, however,
   as a Premium customer you also have priority support available any time by signing
   in at wordfence.com and clicking “Get Help” under your license on the Licenses
   page ([https://www.wordfence.com/licenses](https://www.wordfence.com/licenses)).
 * Thanks,
   Margaret
