• I’m trying to reduce my site warnings and errors as much as possible, but I get over 200 errors and over 1500 warnings for twenty fourteen theme in the W3 CSS vallidator. I’ve tried going through most of my plugins by deactivating and deleting them, but still there are so many errors related to the theme. I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong.

The errors I’m asking about those given for the twenty fourteen v. 4.2.2 style sheet and Google fonts stylesheets (included with twenty fourteen)

    My site is http://www.archerfoto.com

Can anyone give me ideas about why I’m getting so many errors and warnings?
    Thanks!

Deleting, rather than deactivating NextGen, RoyalSlider, and a few other plugins helped a lot. For some of them, I had to go into my WordPress installation to delete individual folders and files that weren’t removed by uninstalling the plugins. That brought me down to just 51 errors and 139 warnings. I guess I can live with that since the site seems fine, but if anyone has tips about how to track these errors down, I would really appreciate it. It’s quite a challenge for me to interpret the results of the CSS Validator.

Still not working … as soon as I install Jetpack, I get over 200 errors on validating CSS Level 3 and many more on CSS level 2.1. I’ve written to Jetpack support and hope they reply.
