Support » Plugin: Fast Secure Contact Form » Output buffering error in blog with WP 4.4.2 upgrade

I just upgraded WP to 4.4.2. When I have the plug-in activated, I see this on the blog page (there are no contact forms used in the blog page itself)

Fatal error: ob_end_flush() [ref.outcontrol]: Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in /wp-includes/functions.php on line 3464

Deactivating the plugin makes the error go away. Removing and reinstalling had no impact, the error came back with the reinstall.

    Theme is WeaverXtreme 2.0.7
“W3 Total Cache” and “Social Media Widget” plugins are installed by not active (each one independently causes the same problem when active)

This is on a stage site, not publicly accessible.

  • Hi, this might not have anything to do with this plugin since you also mentioned above that your other plugins when you activate them they also cause the same error message to appear.

There is clearly some interaction with the plugin’s. I agree that 3 having the same problem is unlikely, but I have to start poking around with the data I have and that says the blog fails when the plug-in is active. If you have other thoughts on where to look, I will gladly consider them.

That said, activating the contact form by itself, as the only plugin, does not cause the problem, now that I look at it.

Hi, that is a good sign. That means that it is one of your other plugin that is causing the problem.

it turns out I needed to increase the memory limit.

Great to hear you resolved your issue.

If you don’t have any more questions can you mark this support thread as resolved.

    Thank you

Setting a new memory limit in wp-config fixed it. The clue was looking at the debug output.
