Outbound links not tracking

    Hello,
    I have had this issue for a few weeks. Outbound links are not being tracked correctly. Some but very few are, but most are not being tracked. I will see some tracking but not all events are being tracked. I have verified outbound links being clicked on via another tracking app since I notice the issue. Please advise on how to troubleshoot and fix, thanks.

    Hi there,
    Please update to the latest version of MonsterInsights (just released), clear any caching you are doing, and then let me know (after 24 hours) if this has (it should) resolved itself

    I am facing the same problem from last few months. I have updated the plugin still Google Analytics is showing a warning that links are not tracking.

    PS: I have setup the Goal for links tracking event.

    Hi Chris,

    I did some testing using 3 different browsers. I had adblocker off for each. Here are my results:
    Chrome – No click event tracking whatsoever, both external and internal.
    Firefox – Click event tracking for both external (outbound-link) and internal (outbound-link-int).
    Safari – Click event tracking for only external (outbound-link)

    Any thoughts on this? I am running version 4.7.3 of MonsterInsights.

    Same here, no link is tracking.
