Out of stock products – hide from general site search

    Hi

    I have Woocommerce added to the theme I am using – Hueman
    So far things are working fine minus a couple issues.

    I have figured out how to hide products once they are sold out.
    But when I test a search in the over all site, not just the store.. these out of stock products show in the search results – just like regular posts.

    I do want products in stock to show up in any search, but the out of stock I prefer to be unseen any where.

    Any ideas?

    My other question would be is there a way in the related products section or widget – that related post could show as well.

    example – If I have articles about stamps – in related would show stamps we sell and on the product page for stamps – related would include articles we have about stamps

    That way would be amazing to promote our articles and products – that is really what I call cross selling, but can’t get it going in the cross selling area.

    I am using the up to date versions of woocommerse and wordpress

    Bump

    Hoping someone can help. I have read around the forum for a fix.
    All that I found was a fix to not show out of stock in the store pages, but not on the main site pages.

    Any help please for this and my other questions
