    I believe the plugin killed the MySQL server several times. After talking to host support, they advised me to increase the memory limit to 256 Mbyte, but that did not fix it. After I removed the plugin, the problem went away.

    Please see this screenshot from the terminal.

  • @helijobs thanks for opening a topic. A few questions:

    — Could you confirm which version of the plugin you were using?

    — Which modules in Site Kit did you have connected?

    — Did you notice any error messages and/or dashboard display issues?

    – it was the latest version as of this New Year.
    – Google Analytics only
    – it was not possible to reach the dashboard at all, nor the webpage. It returned “Database Connection Error” or something like that, nor was there anything in the Apache log to indicate problems.

    Here’s a Munin-printout over the week over Xmas when the site started to go down frequently.

    EDIT: the Site Kit version was 1.1.4

    It seems to have been coincidental, there are other issues with the server.

    @helijobs thanks for the update!
