Our website is http://www.phoenixcharteracademy.org . Our communications team used WordPress to help create this new site. However, when we are on-campus at the school, we only see the old version of the site, which does not use WordPress. We can see our WordPress site off-campus just fine.

Has this ever happened before to anyone else? Is there something in the DNS that I need to change? Both the WordPress site and old site use the same web address: http://www.phoenixcharteracademy.org . How do I metaphorically move the old site over so that everyone can see the WordPress site while on-campus (when attached to our private pca-ad.local domain)? Does this have to do with website permissions?

    Thanks

  • Mmmh, it’s more of a network problem rather than WP.

Well, you might be using proxy inside your school. Your website could be cached and as a result, you only see the old version.

As for the DNS, if both website are using the same hosting server, at the same address, then it’s not the source of the problem.

Ask your Sys admin to force proxy update if you have one.

It turns out that I had to change DNS record for the site on the server. Thank you so much!
