    Hi,
    sorry My english…
I use allways the WP3.1 and I have install the groups. Groups is perfect!!! but I have found only one bug:

ohter shortcodes between the [groups_member group=”Registered”] do not function
    i.e.
    [groups_member group=”Registered”]
Only registered users can see this calendar!
    [my_calendar category=”all” format=”calendar” showkey=”no” shownav=”no” toggle=”no” time=”month”]
    [/groups_member]
    thank for your great work!

Thanks for your feedback Manfred 🙂

    I’ve just tested this with:
    – WordPress 3.3.1
    – Groups 1.0.0-beta-3
    – My Calendar 1.10.6
    – Theme: Twenty Eleven 1.3

On this setup, the example you give works, i.e. the calendar is shown for a registered user (only).

Maybe there’s a conflict with another theme or plugin?

Would you mind commenting on your setup on this page?

    Cheers

    Hi,

Groups is exactly the plugin I was looking for, but I also have the same issue.

I use WP 3.3.1 and any other plugin shortcode I put in between [groups_member group=”Registered”] doesn’t work.

Plugin examples are Get User Custom Field Values, Formidable Pro and WordPress Print This Section.

Would be fantastic if it were compatible with shortcodes of other plugins.

Thank you for the energy you put into this plugin,
    Laurent.

Thanks for the info Laurent, I’ve tested this again and cannot confirm that it fails – please see this video where I’ve set up several test pages with shortcodes from each of the plugins below nested within Groups’ shortcodes. In each case it works, I can only conclude that either the shortcodes are not used correctly or another plugin or the theme(s) you’re using interfere, so I’ll close this topic as Groups itself does not seem to be the cause.

    Setup:

    – WordPress 3.3.1
    – Theme: Twenty Eleven 1.3
    – Groups 1.0.0-beta-3

    Plugins tested:

    – Formidable 1.06.02
    – Get User Custom Field Values 2.6
    – My Calendar 1.10.6
    – WordPress Print This Section 2.0.4

Thank you very much for testing and for the video.

I guess then that it’s something related to the theme I use (Karma from Truethemes).

I’ll look into it from that perspective.

    Best regards,
    Laurent.

Hi Im having the same problem on a clean wordpress install (version 3.4.1) – No plugins activated (except for groups)and default theme.

Nobody can see the content, even the administrator.

    ———
    everbody see what is here

    [groups_member group=”turma1”]

No one can see this, not group members nor administrator

    [/groups_member]
    ———

the site is my local machine is there any information I can provide you in order to help?

(Please don’t post on resolved threads, open a new one instead.)

This is due to the quotes you are using: you must use " quotes and not :

    [groups_member group=”turma1″]
Members of the turma1 group would see this.
    [/groups_member]

Sorry for posting on a resolved post.

I did as you said and its working now.

    Thank you Itthix
