 * Hi,
 * Earlier in the week I tried to update all my products with SEO keywords using
   the meta data column on a few CSV files. When I did this initially it removed
   all of the attributes from all my products.
 * Since then I have restored my site through jetpack to a point before I made any
   changes.
 * Now a load of orphaned products have appeared as well as woocommerce status telling
   me I have 11747 products out of stock.
 * I have 4659 published variable products and since yesterday it is now showing
   4453 as orphaned.
 * I have tried to do what was suggested on a previous ticket going to status >
   tools > remove orphaned variations but it just says “0 variations were removed”
 * I spoke to my webhost to see if they could help but they advised me to contact
   woocommerce.

 * Hi [@maxabseedy](https://wordpress.org/support/users/maxabseedy/),
 * Not an ideal situation and sorry to hear the issue you ran into.
 * Let’s see what can be done. I think the best way forward to avoid further problems
   here would be to restore a state of your site and database where it does not
   show orphaned variations and out of stock products.
 * Restoring with Jetpack seems didn’t work 100% so I would recommend getting in
   touch with your hosting company which should have saved on their server daily
   backups including a database backup.
 * You could also reach out to Jetpack support and see if they have more suggestions
   for you. Follow the appropriate support channels based on their [scope of support](https://jetpack.com/support/scope-of-support/).
 * Let us know how it goes.

 * Hi,
 * quick update
 * have had the site restored back to the 20th May 2022 but am still getting the
   orpahned products.
 * I deactivated all plug ins and activated one by one to find that it is the yoast
   premium plug in that is causing the orphaned products to show.
 * I am now going to contact yoast to see if they can help.
 * If anyone has any further suggestions i am open to ideas! thank you!

 * yoast have not been helpful at all.
 * one of their replies said things should be fine as I have links all over the
   site to other products but the latest reply said my products arent going to be
   indexed properly on google if it stays how it is.
 * Now i am not sure what to do or how to fix the issue. All my products have links
   all over the site so it has left me stumped.
 * with the initial problem I also now still have over 6000 products out of stock
   and when i do a woo export it is showing me duplicate SKUs for variations that
   are out of stock but i cant see any duplicates when i go into the products or
   search in any other way.
 * I tried wp sheet editor to see if i could delete duplicate SKUs but that also
   found 0 duplicates. All very confusing and frustrating!

 * Hi there,
 * Thanks for the update!
 * The next approach would be to check the database and fix things there. If you’re
   not a database expert I would not touch it though and request the services of
   a local developer or you could also get in touch with one of the experts listed
   at [https://woocommerce.com/customizations/](https://woocommerce.com/customizations/).
