Support » Plugin: Translate Multilingual sites - TranslatePress » Original Language Exception on a Specific Post

Although, I’ve tired to search whether this question has been already asked or not, but if this is a duplicated question, I apologize in advance.

I have an unique user environment as below.
    – The website uses 2 languages EN and KO.
    – But the contributors (post writers) are both EN and KO speakers.
It means some posts have EN as its original language, but the other posts have KO as its original language.

So, if the WordPress’s main language is EN, the KO posts will be hard to be translated.
    – The KO writers needs to write their post somewhere not on the WordPress.
    – It needs to be written in EN on WordPress, first.
    – And after that, it need to be translated to KO on TranslatePress’s UI, again.

Is there any way to set each post’s original language to be different with the WordPress’s main language setting.

    – E.g. The TranslatePress recognize this custom original language setting for each post, and provides KO > EN (not KO > EN) translation only for the specific pages…?

Thank you for reading my question.

    Hello,

We deeply apologize for the delayed response.

There has been a great load on our support team in the past few days, but such a long reply time is very uncommon.

This is not currently possible with our plugin, but I have added your request to our development list, so it might be implemented in a future version, but we can’t estimate when that may be.

    With the best of regards,
    Denis,
