Original Jetpack -vs- Jetpack Protect

    Hello Support,

    I don’t understand, is Jetpack Protect included in the Original Jetpack plugin?

    If Jetpack Protect is NOT included in the Original Jetpack plugin, can I install Jetpack Protect with the Original Jetpack plugin.

    Hi Julian

    The new Jetpack Protect plugin is different from the Jetpack feature formerly known as Jetpack Protect (now renamed Brute Force Attack Protection)

    The features of the new Jetpack Protect plugin are not included in the Jetpack plugin, and both plugins can be installed together without any issues.

    To clarify:

    Brute Force Attack Protection is not included in the stand-alone Jetpack Protect plugin?
    Brute Force Attack Protection is only available in the “original” Jetpack plugin?

    Thanks for clarifying the difference between the Jetpack Protect plugin and the “original” Jetpack plugin.

    I am using the “original” Jetpack plugin. So, does that mean all features offered in the Jetpack Protect plugin are included in the “original” Jetpack plugin and I can ignore the Jetpack Protect plugin?
