• Hello. I am using an IPad Air 2.
My problem is when I insert an image into my post from the media library my original image title changes to image3.jpg.
Example: fashion-model-wildflowers.jpg changes to image3.jpg after inserting into post. Consequently the image URL doesn’t have my original image title in it, which I would like it to be for SEO purposes.

    This is the link

This is the post link http://jasonchristopher.com/fashion-photographers-dont-over-shoot-2/

You should also know I am using a purchased theme.

Someone please help. I must be doing something wrong.
    Thank you in advance
    Jason Christopher

  • Greetings,
This issue is with the purchased theme you’re using. I doubt you’re doing anything wrong. Give the theme author a shout and they should be able to help.
    Good luck!

    Hi Paul.

Thank you for your reply. My site designer has emailed the theme developer twice and it’s been over these two months. The developer has not gotten back to us. Any suggestions on how I can light a fire under this developers bum to get him to respond?

The theme is supposed to be responsive and it barely is.

I’d appreciate any advice from you or anyone.

    Thank you , Jason

    Hi Jason,
I just followed up with another look, and it appears your problem has been fixed.
At least, that image no longer seems to have its filename changed.

    Are you good-to-go, then?

    Hi Paul

Thank you for checking again. I actually went in from my desktop and uploaded the image again. So unfortunately the problem is not fixed. The theme developer doesn’t return emails so I’m gonna have to pay someone to fix my site. It’s supposed to be responsive and it is to a point but not fully. Look at my site on a cell phone. It’s even worse on an iPad. I’m so sick over this.

    Jason,
Man, I’m sorry to hear that! I’ve been in that boat.

We can’t provide support for purchased themes here in this forum. I can say you’re better off spending some time getting a different theme than you are paying someone to fix your current one. While I’m sure fixing this one error probably wouldn’t entail much, it is a sign that your theme developer has not been thorough and probably made other errors.

I can say I’ve had good luck searching the themes directory for responsive themes in the past.

I hope you get this squared away soon. Good luck!

That’s a good idea. I’m gonna search for another theme.
    Thank you!
