Request: For the admin area, it would be great if we could assign a color overlay to individual pages and posts within the admin area.

For instance, in Photoshop, you can organize layers and help differentiate layers by assigning a color to that layer. The color shows up in the layers palette and it helps the user differentiate which layer (or layer sets) they are looking at.

A similar feature would be great to have for WordPress.

I put together a sample image:

Just the background color would change, but not the text color and all that. I got lazy in Photoshop.

I’m not sure it needs to look exactly like this but something similar would help me find posts and pages visually, especially for websites with tons of pages and posts. Maybe there’s already something like this and I’m missing it?

    Thanks.
