Organized and Sorted Archives in one page

Hello, I’m been searching for about three or four weeks for a feature that I really need to finish the design of my weblog but nothing worked to date.

There are two post in this forum that explain solutions to get what I want, but I wasn’t able to get it running in WP 1.5.

Explain a way based on nicer archives to show sorted archives, but there’s no way to put into a static page.

Is about Nicer Archives for WP 1.3. and there isn’t neither a working way to put in a page.

I’ve been trying a lot of combinations with the ideas sugested in those posts but, to date, nothing has worked.

I really need a way to get sortable archives, and I really, really apreciate any help.
